Expectations as Ahmadiyya leader addresses London conference

The Global leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Khalifatul Masih the Fifth, Hazrat Masroor Ahmad, will address over 50,000 participants from over 90 countries of the world as they gather at the 2026 yearly Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK Islamic Conference in Surrey, London, from today, July 24, to Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Ahmad is expected to provide invaluable insights into religious teachings and their source of guidance for today’s world to the delegates at the convention, while adherents of the faith would use the three-day conference to increase their religious knowledge and promote a sense of peace in society.

In the meantime, the Amir, leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat of Nigeria, Alatoye Azeez, is leading over 50 Nigerian Ahmadi Muslims to the 2026 Conference.

Also gracing the event are parliamentarians, civic leaders and diplomats from different countries, who will be addressing the gathering to underline the convention’s objective of enhancing unity, understanding and mutual respect.

Fourteen African journalists from Ghana, Sierra Leone, Cote d’Ivoire, Benin Republic, Southern Africa, Tanzania, Malawi, as well as Nigeria’s Dr Qasim Akinreti, among others, will also be attending.

According to a statement from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, “the key purpose of the Islamic convention is to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefits, broaden their knowledge, and deepen their understanding of Allah Almighty by the grace and opportunity given to them.”
