Chairman/CEO of Blue Shield Security Ltd, Ozo Nweke, has called on the federal and state governments to provide security and ensure the safety of students, especially at the primary and secondary school levels.

Nweke, who made the call while giving a talk to students of Prof. Kenneth Dike Memorial Secondary School, Awka, Anambra State, yesterday, announced the establishment of a scholarship scheme for the students.

He also said Blue Shield Security Ltd would provide security watches free of charge to staff, students and property of the school to ensure the safety of everyone within the premises, insisting that students and staff well-being is very important and must be taken seriously by government and individuals.

He promised to build a modern computer laboratory for the school to encourage students’ acquisition of wider knowledge in their studies.

According to him, the scholarship scheme will cover up to higher institutions and would commence the next academic session in the school.
