As the world rolls the drums to celebrate the birthday anniversary of the respected Yoruba monarch, Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan-Ogunwusi, on his 50th birthday, the Igbo diasporan King in the Republic of Ghana, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu, has joined his family members, traditional rulers, numerous well wishers, and the entire Ife ancient kingdom, to celebrate the traditional ruler.

The king in a statement by his Director on Media Strategy and Communications, Njoku Macdonald Obinna, showered heartwarming encomium on the Ooni of Ife, describing him as a torchbearer in the Nigerian traditional institution, a man of excellent wisdom who has distinguished himself both in business and leadership before his enthronement on the traditional stool of his forefathers.

Eze Ohazurume of Ghana, however, eulogized the humanitarian spirit of the monarch which according to him, has made the revered Yoruba king loved not only by his subjects but also by people at home and abroad.

In The Eze said: “My dearest King, friend and good brother, on this monumental occasion of your 50th birthday anniversary, I am not only celebrating the gift of your life, true patriotism, wise counsel to your subjects, and service to humanity. I am also celebrating your selfless contribution towards peace, unity, and nation- building.

“You are more than just a revered monarch, you are a compassionate leader whose love for humanity knows no bounds. Your tireless dedication to uplifting those around you inspires all who are blessed to witness your reign.”

Eze Ihenetu stated further: “Your remarkable accomplishment stands as a testament to your vision and heart for transformation.

“The establishment of Ojaja University is a reflection of your unwavering commitment to the advancement of education and the empowerment of future generations.

“Through this and the many groundbreaking projects you have championed, you have made an indelible mark, not just in the kingdom, state of origin and Nigeria, but across the world.

“On this auspicious day of your birth, may I, on behalf of my lovely wife, HRM Ugoeze Liberty Ihenetu, my beautiful children, and the entire Igbo people and Nigerians living in Ghana, celebrate you, my King, my friend, and my brother, for all that you are—an extraordinary leader, a loving husband, and a divine blessing to the world.
