The elder brother of assassinated Head of Electrical Engineering Unit of Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa, has appealed to the Inspector General of Police, Attorney General of the Federation and heads of security agencies in the country to uncover, arrest and bring to justice, his younger brother, Abdulrahaman Musa’s killers.

Abdulrahaman Musa, until his gruesome murder on October 31, 2021, was the Head of the Electrical Engineering Unit of FAAN and a graduate of Electrical Engineering from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.

Musa was on his way home in Lagos, on Sunday evening, when he was killed by suspected hired assassins. To disguise the assassination as an armed robbery or kidnap case, his murderers threw his body into a nearby canal.

Alhaji Musa said his brother’s lifeless body was discovered floating on the canal by residents, who alerted the police on Thursday.

He said the suspected assassins did not touch the official Toyota Hilux vehicle he was driving home. The vehicle was left on the road.

He said: “ Right now, my entire family is mourning my brother’s tragic and gruesome murder. We are preparing to fly his body to Abuja for an onward journey to Okene, Kogi State, for burial. We cannot say much for now. My brother complained several times about his battle in his office. This may be a clue. I, therefore, passionately appeal to the Inspector General of Police, Attorney General of the Federation and Heads of other security agencies not to leave any stone unturned in arresting and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this dastardly act. This heinous crime must not go unpunished. We know police and other law enforcement agencies are equal to the task…”

He appealed to the media not to relent in helping his family to demand justice so that this would serve as a deterrent to other murderous gangs stalking and trailing innocent Nigerians.
