Fayemi mourns passage of Adu
The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has condoned with the family of the late Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on Economic Matters, Ayodele Adu, who died yesterday.
Fayemi, in a statement by his Special Assistant (Media), Olayinka Oyebode, said he was shocked and saddened by the death of Adu, who served in his government on the Board of Fountain Investment Company Limited, describing it as a personal loss to him and a major loss to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Nigerian government.
He said Adu’s death has robbed the Ekiti State chapter of the party of another prominent member and compounded its grief, especially coming closely on the heels of the death of Chief Ibidapo Awojolu and Alhaji Femi Ganiyu Adeyemi.
The minister, in his condolence message, described the late Adu as a vibrant young man, a thorough bred professional and a descent progressive politician, who was ever willing and ready to deploy his talents and expertise for the progress of his fatherland.
