FCTA shares N2.4b among councils, stakeholders

The Federal Capital Territory FCT Administration (FCTA) has shared N2, 495,241,552.54 among its six area councils and other stakeholders for the month of September.

The Federal Capital Territory FCT Administration (FCTA) has shared N2, 495,241,552.54 among its six area councils and other stakeholders for the month of September.

Of the sum, N867, 586,819.11 went to the councils while the balance of N1, 627, 654, 733.43 was handed over to the stakeholders.

The information was captured in a statement released yesterday in Abuja by Austin Elemue, Special Assistant (Media) to the FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu.

In the document, the minister charged members of the FCT Joint Area Councils Allocation Committee (JAAC) on accountability and transparency.
