Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) presidential candidate, Fela Durotoye, has picked Hajia Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya a lawyer by profession as his running mate for the 2019 general election.

“I’m incredibly proud to unveil my running mate, & with your support & God’s Grace, the next Vice President of Nigeria, Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya,” Durotoye said on Wednesday.

“She has an LLB Law degree from the University of Abuja & Masters in Law & Diplomacy from the University of Jos,” he added.

The presidential hopeful further stated that “Continuous learning, focus & determination are her strategy to personal growth & development.

Durotoye while presenting his running mate said Abdullahi-Iya has founded several social enterprises and businesses, sits on the Board of some SMEs and possesses over 10 years experience in humanitarian and community outreach programs.

“Khadijah’s objective is to keep finding innovative ways to add value to communities advocating for literacy through fun learning from the cradle, which earned her an award for Excellence; for promoting quality Education In Nig, from the Civil society Action coalition on Education,” he added.

Abdullahi-Iya is married to the former Deputy Director of Central Bank of Nigeria Alhaji Haruna Dalhatu Iya.
