Fintiri dissolves 50 Adamawa development area administrators

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has approved the immediate dissolution of all 50 Development Area Administrators across the state.

According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, the affected administrators have been directed to hand over the affairs, documents, and government properties in their custody to the most senior staff members in their respective areas.

Fintiri expressed appreciation to the outgoing officials, acknowledging their roles in driving grassroots development during their tenure.

“I commend the Development Area Administrators for their tireless efforts in stimulating development at the grassroots level. Their support has been instrumental in achieving successes in our state,” the Governor said. “They have been great motivators, and I wish them well in their future endeavors.”

Wonosikou added that the Governor’s office will provide necessary guidance to ensure a smooth transition, as the senior staff now take charge of administrative responsibilities to maintain continuity in governance.

Fintiri reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the welfare and development of the people of Adamawa State, emphasizing that service delivery will not be disrupted.
