A fire outbreak has been reported in one of the emergency wards of the University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan. At the time of filing this report, men of the Oyo State Fire Service are battling to put out the fire.

A fire outbreak has been reported in one of the emergency wards of the University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan. At the time of filing this report, men of the Oyo State Fire Service are battling to put out the fire.
No reason has been adduced for causing the fire, which started around 4. 25pm.
One of the nursing staffs, who spoke to The Guardian said the hospital security men and other members of staff are trying to evacuate patients on sick bed, although men of the fire services are also on hand to ensure no patient is consumed in the blaze.
