Firm introduces digital platform to ease radio ads

Worried by the hitches associated with accessing advertisements on the radio by going digital, Space Universe, an indigenous technology innovation company has announced the launching of Radioadspread.com

RadioAdSpread is an AI-driven global advertisement platform that digitalizes the operation of radio advertisements globally while providing real-time reports.

Speaking at the unveiling of the platform, which was held in Lagos, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Space Universe, Tunji Idowu, explained that the innovation, which is an all-in-one radio advertisement booking platform, is birthed to provide a seamless solution and fix the gap between advertisers and radio stations, among
other parties involved.

According to him, “it allows you to reach radio stations, run your campaigns and monitor it at your own comfort.”

On his part, the Chairman of the Independent Broadcasting Association of Nigeria IBAN, Guy Murray Bruce, commended the efforts of the tech firm, saying, “the innovation is very indigenous and IBAN is happy to support it.”

While reiterating the importance of radio advertising in reaching
a larger audience, despite all other competing platforms, he stated that “Radio reaches more than 90% of the population, making it an effective way to get your message out to a large number of people.

“Additionally, radio advertising can be targeted at specific demographics, such as age, gender, or geographic location, which can help you reach the people who are most likely to be interested in your product or service.

“This platform will enable business owners, advertising agencies, and marketing managers to easily create and manage radio advertisements remotely and connect with radio stations across Nigeria from anywhere in the world and from the comfort of their offices and homes,” he added.

The Guest Speaker, Femi Adelusi, President Media Independent Practitioner Association of Nigeria (MIPAN), who spoke on the topic, ‘Technology Adoption to Automate Media Buying Process’, stressed that the innovation was totally indigenous, developed by Nigerians and for the advancement of radio and advertising businesses globally as well as, providing valuable comprehensive analytics that helps people to understand how their content is consumed by listeners and effectively automating media order purchases and inventories management.

“As we are all aware, technology is the future and it is important that a cutting-edge digital platform that takes the media industry from traditional, rigid and rigorous processes to full
automation is activated,” he said.
