Firm seals deal to distribute Dangote’s refined products

In a move to aid petroleum supply across Nigeria, Sunbeth Energies Limited has signed a landmark agreement with Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals FZE for the purchase and nationwide distribution of refined petroleum products.

The deal positions Sunbeth Energies among a select group of downstream companies with direct access to Dangote’s much-anticipated refinery output, underscoring its rising profile as one of the country’s trusted energy distributors.

For a company barely two years old, the agreement signals growing operational credibility and ambition to strengthen Nigeria’s energy security through local refining and robust distribution networks.

Speaking on the partnership, Managing Director of Sunbeth Energies, Lateef Abioye, described the deal as a bold statement of intent.

“This partnership with Dangote Refinery is not just a deal, it’s a signal. It signals our continued drive to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s energy security and long-term economic value. At Sunbeth Energies, we are building for the future, a resilient and responsive supply system that delivers with consistency, earns trust, and serves both industries and communities nationwide,” he said.

He added that the collaboration strengthens the company’s alignment with national development priorities and expands its capacity to adapt and lead in an energy market that is evolving fast and demanding more.

Abioye revealed that through the partnership, Sunbeth Energies will distribute Dangote-refined petroleum products across its service stations nationwide, ensuring availability, reducing supply chain inefficiencies, and enhancing consumer trust.

The Head of Retail Sales at Sunbeth Energies, Victoria Awoniyi, said the partnership expands the firm’s capacity to serve the market reliably and at scale.
