Firm targets N10b housing projects for low-income earners
Poised to reduce housing deficit in the country, a Lagos based developer, Messrs GText Homes is set to build a N10billion low cost housing project to assist low income earners in the country achieve their dream of home ownership.
Chief Executive Officer, GText home, Stephen Akintayo disclosed this during the end of year Dinner and Carol program organised to commemorate the firm’s 10th anniversary in Lagos. He said, “Part of our plan is to kick start a working idea of having 200 housing estates in each of our estates. At the moment, we have about five estates. Four of the estates are located in Lagos while one is situated in Abuja.
We want to have 200 housing estates so that we will be able to provide shelter for people who do not have house of their own. This is our major priority for 2019. The 200 housing estates will be low cost housing affording for the low income classes”. He stated that the project would increase the number of house ownership in Nigeria.
