Firm to provide capital, business development assistance to entrepreneurs

Chapel Hill Denham

An investment firm, Chapel Hill Denham has pledged to provide capital and business development assistance to entrepreneurs and founders operating within Nigeria’s creative economy.

To do this, the firm has opened applications for the second edition of its Creative Catalyst, a funding and business development programme aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s creative economy.

Chief Executive Officer of Chapel Hill Denham, Bolaji Balogun, highlighted the importance of supporting the creative industry through local investment.

According to him, Nigeria possesses exceptional talent across the creative sector, which continues to generate opportunities for young Nigerians and Africans.

He noted that domestic capital plays a critical role in supporting the sector, which helps to tell African stories, preserve history, and promote culture.

Balogun explained that Creative Catalyst was established to provide funding to artists and creative entrepreneurs with outstanding and commercially viable ideas, adding that the initiative is structured to help creatives scale their businesses through both financial and business development support.

“Creative Catalyst is designed to provide capital and business development assistance to entrepreneurs and founders operating within Nigeria’s creative economy. Since its launch, the initiative has supported a growing portfolio of creative businesses and projects.

“Among the projects supported by the platform is the 2025 feature film Gingerrr, which reflects the programme’s commitment to backing creative ideas that combine artistic expression with strong commercial potential,” he said.

The firm said the application portal will remain open until Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and is open to applicants across the entire creative sector, including artists and creative entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas.

Chapel Hill Denham said the second edition of the initiative is expected to further deepen support for Nigeria’s fast-growing creative industry by providing resources needed to help creatives transform ideas into sustainable ventures.

Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their entries before the application deadline.
