Governor Seriake Dickson yesterday assured the people of Bayelsa State that the first airplane would land at the international airport in Yenagoa by June this year. 

In a statement, he said the state government had set aside funds for the completion of the airport which is coming with a 3.5 kilometre runway. 

Dickson also said the government was expecting $6 billion Chinese investment in the Brass fertilizer project which he noted would boost the economy.
