Five schools emerges 2022 Rotary 4-way test competition finalists

Out of twenty-one contestants from thirteen schools that made it to the semi-final of the 2022 Rotary 4-Way Test Essay Writing Competition organised by Rotary International, District 9110, which took place at Rotary Centre, GRA, Ikeja, five schools emerged the best qualified for the final competition slated for May 9, 2022.

According to the Chair, the 4-Way Test Committee, past President Adeniyi Otuniyi, the competition which started at the club level with the selection of participating schools, is aimed at catching them young by making the youth imbibe the ideals of Rotary 4-Way Test with a view to making them live a decent accommodating life devoid of self, lying and cheating.

We believe writing an essay on the Rotary 4-Way Test which include: Is it the truth; Is it fair to all concerned; will it build goodwill and better friendship and will it be beneficial to all concerned, would make their research and understand the Rotary 4-Way Test.

“We discovered from their performance that many of them have understood what the Rotary 4-Way Test is all about and we felt happy hearing some of them taking positive decisions based on the ideals of Rotary 4-Way Test,” he said.

Otuniyi, who scored the panel of judges excellent, remarked that the exercise was conducted satisfactorily.

He disclosed other programmes in the pipeline such as 4-Way Test advocates made of people that have imbibed the spirit of the Rotary 4-Way Test in their various clubs.
