Get Guardian on GoogleHeal & Sparkle Foundation has unveiled plans for a transformative women’s empowerment conference, “She Rises,” to guide the gender on their journey to healing, confidence, and purpose.
According to the organisers, the one-day conference will feature keynote sessions on healing, confidence, and career growth, mental health awareness campaigns, and self-inquiry exercises. Other highlights include an exhibition and networking fair, spotlighting women-led businesses and wellness brands, as well as a special birthday celebration segment for women born in August.
Scheduled for August 23 in Lagos, the event would also feature the official launch of the She Rises Self-Inquiry Journal.
Speaking on the significance of the initiative, the convener, Modupe Nnebedum, described She Rises as more than an event, noting: “It’s a movement.
“We’re creating a space where women heal deeply, own their stories, and step boldly into their purpose. The launch of our Self-Inquiry Journal will extend this journey beyond the conference, offering every woman a personal roadmap to her greatness,” she said.
The organisers said the event would serve as a hub for women to connect, share experiences, and access resources that promote holistic empowerment.
