Barring any last minute change, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, will rejig his cabinet to reposition political structure ahead of 2023 general elections.

Ganduje has already sent names of eight Commissioner designates to the state house of assembly to replace the empty ministries who had remain vacuum in the last four months.

Presenting Ganduje’s notice of nominees at the plenary on Monday, Speaker Kano state house of assembly, Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari announced the names of Commissioner designates.

The speaker disclosed the readiness of the assembly to screen the new Commissioner designates beginning from Monday next week.

The nominees include Garba Yusif Abubakar, an former political associate of Senator Ibrahim Shekarau; former speaker Kano state house of assembly, Ya’u Abdullahi Yanshana and former Chairman Nassarawa local council area of Kano, Lamin Sani Zawiyya.

Others are former Commissioner for Finance and Commence Ibrahim Dan’azumi Garzo, former APC national treasurer Adamu Abdu Panda; former Chairman Wudil local council area, Saleh Kausani; Abdulhalim Liman Dan-Maliki and Yusif Jibril Rurum.

The eight former Commissioners including deputy Governor who doubles as Commissioner for agric, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna; former Commissioner for APC deputy Governor candidate; Murtala Sule Garo, former education Commissioner Sanusi Kiru and others were compelled to resigned their appointment to pursue their political ambitions.
