Gombe youths seek return of Yahaya as gov

Youths in Gombe State, yesterday, declared support for the return of Governor Muhammadu Yahaya in the next election.

They urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) to disregard any other interest in the state’s number one seat other than the governor.

Publicity Secretary of Gombe APC, Moses Kyari, however, assured the groups that the party would ensure that their quest be realised.

The groups included Inuwa Action Group, Inuwa Organisation Network, Inuwa 4+4, Inuwa Initiative Forum, Inuwa Women Group and Gombe Syate Students Association (GOSSA).

Addressing a press conference at APC secretariat in Gombe, the groups hinged their case on the recorded achievements in Yahaya’s ongoing tenure.

According to the leader of Inuwa Action Group, Babangida Danja, with the achievements so far recorded by this government, it is just reasonable and unarguable for us to agree with any responsible patriot to return the governor.
