Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has vowed to complete the Kafanchan Township Roads within three months, fulfilling his pledge to run an inclusive government and bring development to all parts of the state.

Speaking at the 2nd edition of the Southern Kaduna Festival held in Kafanchan over the weekend, the governor revealed that contractors had been fully mobilised to resume work on the roads that had been abandoned for many years.

Governor Sani assured that his administration is committed to embarking on a massive transformation of rural communities to unlock the key to sustainable development.

Towards this end, the governor announced plans to convert Sir Patrick Yakowa General Hospital in Kafanchan, Southern Kaduna, into a Federal Medical Centre (FMC).

“The people of Southern Kaduna have reciprocated this gesture by ensuring that peace prevails so that there can be unhindered development,” he said.

“Preserving ‘Heritage, Igniting Progress,’ our cultural heritage is the foundation upon which we build our progress, and it is our responsibility to preserve it for future generations. We believe that by empowering rural communities, we can unlock the secrets to sustainable development, economic growth, and social prosperity.

“This administration has recorded numerous transformative projects in the 18 months of being in office that are reshaping our communities and enhancing the quality of life for our citizens.”

“The Kafanchan Township Roads were abandoned for many years, bringing untold hardship to the people of this area. Contractors have been fully mobilised, and work is ongoing.”
