• Says Nigeria suffering from nepotism
The country is in the “hands of wrong managers who do not know what to do. And out of nepotism, are not ready to be assisted by those who know,” said Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose.

He also said the “economy has collapsed completely,” regretting that those who should “revive it do not have any clues.”“Political affiliation has nothing to do with hunger, poverty and lack. The exchange rate was less than N200 to $1 when President Buhari took over power. As at today, it has gone beyond N400 to $1 and the naira is still undergoing a free fall. One bag of rice was less than N8,000 as at May 2016, it is now N20,000. Kerosene is now beyond the reach of the masses,” he added.

In a statement by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, in Ado Ekiti, yesterday, Fayose said: “Nigerians voted for change because the APC promised them solutions to the country’s problems, but all we hear every day from the APC-led Federal Government are complaints upon complaints, as if Nigerians elected a government of complaints.”

He blamed the President for discarding competent people who could help him run the government, opting instead for “relatives, friends, in-laws and very close associates.”

“Obviously, the APC government has failed Nigerians and the President has resorted to putting his immediate family members and close associates in key government positions to protect himself from the fear of the unknown that has enveloped him.”

According to the governor, “the only qualification to hold key positions in the Presidency is to know a certain nephew of the President or be a member of his family. That is nepotism, and what nepotism breeds is incompetence.”

He alleged that the most influential person in the Presidency today is “one Mamman Daura, who is a nephew of the President. The Personal Assistant to President Buhari is said to be the son of Mamman Daura while the State Chief of Protocol was said to be married to Mamman Daura’s daughter.”

“It is also the height of nepotism that apart from just two, all security chiefs and heads of all the paramilitary agencies in Nigeria, as well as all the political-heads overseeing all the military and paramilitary arms and agencies are from the North of Nigeria.

“As a leader, you don’t need to fear anything. But the moment a leader peeps into the future, realising that his lack of capacity could have consequential effects on him, such a leader will definitely resort to nepotism to protect himself.

“Also, the moment a government is unable to guarantee the existence of the people, it must resort to nepotism to protect itself. And that is exactly what is being witnessed in Nigeria, especially with the lopsided appointments of security chiefs and key functionaries of the Federal Government,” he said.

I agree with Mr Fayose. Buhari has unleashed the worst form of nepotism ever known in Nigeria. To appoint relatives, in-laws and friends into important offices of state is nothing but nepotism. But the APC mob will always support their irredentist. I thought that Buhari once said that he belongs to nobody. Now we know that he belongs to somebody.

When you are igbo, stupidity, acute hypocrisy and ignorance also come with the package. Explain Nepotism? Do you and your fayose even know what it mean before you begin to brandish the nonsense and demons that define both of you? Antagonism does not count as criticism more especially when you have robbed from the very people you are now claiming to be on their side. Does your fayose have any industry, claim to winning any lottery or inheritance from a wealthy parent to justify all the millions and properties the EFCC have seized from him so far? You igbos really have your heads in the latrine in your new found hatred for God and godliness. You ought to be ashamed that it is among you the devil found convenient to handover his antics on his way to retirement instead of displaying your stupidity here. Beside oil and access to the sea is there any other reason why your igbos want to be Ijaws and custodians of the most vile on the face of this earth so badly?

Your fayose is a state governor, beside stomach infrastructure, stealing, murders and all other vices is there anything else for history to remember him for? A sensible person can make Ekiti state the food basket of Nigeria within a planting season if he know his onion. You people crawl out in your hypocrisy and begin to point your fingers at the nonsense inside your heads in apparent display of the poverty that has completely eroded your mental orders. Poverty is not peculiar to Nigeria alone f00l! If you hate your life and being a Nigerian so much why not try Venezuela or better still take a rope go and hang!

I lost hope in Buhari when I watched the video in which he made his infamous 97-5% remark. He has failed.

Buhari is desperately afraid of the unknown. That’s why he has shamefully resorted to nepotism. Governor Fayose is right.
