Group analyses government policies to check retrogression
A group, Transparency Advocacy Development Initiative, has begun policy-by-policy analysis of the financial management system of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration as the May 29 inauguration date draws nearer.
The group said the move was to check retrogression of the country.
During a roundtable with the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation in Abuja, the convener, Solomon Adodo, admitted that government had laid the foundation for a sound fiscal system.
He explained that prudence, transparency and due process were key to the productivity or otherwise of any organisation – be it government or private corporation.
