Group canvasses Igbo presidency, power shift in Anambra

Igbo Leadership Development Foundation (ILDF) is pushing for the zoning of the presidency to the southeast geo-political zone in 2023.
Its director of public affairs, Dr. Law Mefor, told reporters in Abuja that a president of Igbo stock would surely deepen the unity among Nigerians.
The pro-democracy group also canvassed the rotation of Anambra State governorship seat to the southern part of the state in the spirit of equity, fairness and social justice.
ILDF argued that rotation had reduced rancour in the gubernatorial contest and ensured even development in the state.
