Group launches first e-commerce for pharma products
Two months after Wellness Healthcare Group launched the Wellness Plus app, which has been hailed for its innovation in healthcare service delivery in Nigeria, the group is to launch Pharmacentre, tomorrow in Ikeja, Lagos State.
Pharmacentre is a B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Customer) software that seeks to ease the supply chain and bottlenecks that typify access to pharmaceutical products.
According to the MD/CEO of Wellness Medical Distribution, Adetutu Afolabi, the software is to leverage technology in the distribution of medical supplies, pharmaceutical products, laboratory test kits and reagents to hospitals, pharmacies, laboratories, patent medicine stores and individuals at competitive prices, with a framework to make life easier for everyone in the health sector and the world at large.
She said: “It is a multi-vendor, integrative pharma commerce platform for pharmaceutical logistics, uniting pharmacies, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and end-users.”
