Group makes case for youths in governance
SING Foundation has called for a change in the country’s education policies and improved financial services for young people that would enable them participate in governance.
The Media and Communication Manager, Chika Onyesi, yesterday, emphasised the need to give young people education relevant to their needs, their environment and existence.
“On this International Youth Day, we will use our Talk Lounge to discuss issues that affect youths with the theme ‘Transforming Education in Nigeria, Building Employable Youths for the knowledge Economy’,” the group stated.
The statement urged that youths should be taught to contribute to economic growth.
