The Centre for the Advancement and Protection of the Rights of Vulnerable People (CAPRIGHTS-VP) at the Voice of Freedom Project, an initiative of Oxfam and Hivos, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Netherlands, has urged children to report any form of assault.

Project Co-ordinator, CAPRIGHTS-VP, Clara Kanu, said the project created a platform for secondary school students to discuss issues that affect their education, juvenile delinquency, sexual assault and menstrual hygiene.

“The platform is for students to express their feelings without being mocked, get proper menstral hygiene education and equip teachers on managing sexual violence cases and juvenile delinquency,” she said.
