The 15th edition of the Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome opened on Friday with participants from across the world joining via television, radio, and online platforms for the first of the three-day faith event.
Hosted by the Healing School of Christ Embassy, the global service featured worship sessions, prayers, and testimonies from previous participants who credited earlier editions with dramatic improvements in their health.
Opening the event, Pastor Deola Phillips, Director of the Healing School, urged participants to approach the service with faith and expectation.
“God sees you—others may not understand your condition, but the Lord sees you… Expect something to happen for you! This is your day,” she said.
Prayer sessions led by Rev. Ray Okocha and music ministrations by the Loveworld Singers filled the programme, creating what organisers described as an atmosphere of hope and anticipation.
Before Pastor Chris’ appearance, senior ministers including Rev. Tom Amenkhienan, Rev. Ray Okocha, and Pastor John De Beer addressed the global audience, encouraging participants to “be in the flow” and connect by faith.
The testimony segment, moderated by Evangelist Eddy Owase, featured individuals from Switzerland, the United States, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Costa Rica, who shared their experiences of healing from conditions such as depression, neuropathy, and cancer.
Organisers said the testimonies represented “visible evidence of God’s power at work” and inspired renewed faith among viewers.
When Pastor Chris Oyakhilome took the stage, he spoke on the divinity of Jesus Christ and led prayers for those seeking healing.
“Jesus is Christ — ADONAI, God Almighty… until we recognise that Jesus is God, we do not truly know Him,” he told the congregation.
Shortly after, participants from around the world — including Cyprus, France, Pakistan, and the United States — shared live testimonies of recovery, which organisers said took place during the broadcast.
Pastor Chris ended the service by inviting worshippers to continue with Days Two and Three, saying, “I’ve got something to tell you tomorrow that will help you.”
