Hospital to begin three- day medical screening December 6

To prevent misdiagnosis, reduce morbidity and mortality as well as provide world class treatment options locally, Cedarcrest Hospitals, a foremost private multi-specialty hospital group, is providing free medical screening, consultations and drugs to Nigerian citizens at her Lagos Hospital. This will be accompanied with free distribution of Insecticide treated bednets.

Medical Director, Dr. Felix Ogedegbe, said the exercise would hold at the Lagos Hospital on 25, Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island from Wednesday, December 6 to Friday, December 8, from 10:00am – 4:00pm daily. It is expected to offer free healthcare services to hundreds of Nigerans in orthopedic surgery, eye care, internal medicine, general practice, among others.

He said through specialised medical services offered; Cedarcrest Hospitals has played a critical role in helping to conserve our nation’s foreign exchange.

According to Ogedegbe, the best gift a nation can give her people is access to an effective and efficient healthcare system not hindered by the citizens’ ability to pay.

The Lagos Manager, Dr. Ademolu Owoyele, said the hospital is poised to give back to the people by open as part of its corporate social responsibility.thereby affording Nigerians access to services that would normally be paid for.
