The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the 2024 WASSCE results for Private Candidates, Second Series.

The announcement was made on Sunday by the Acting Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina.

A total of 65,023 candidates participated in the exam, with 43,923 (67.55%) achieving credit or above in at least five subjects.

Additionally, 34,878 candidates (53.64%) obtained credit or above in five subjects, including English and Mathematics.

“The performance of candidates in this year’s examination is encouraging, with a significant percentage achieving credit and above in key subjects,” said Adesina.

To check your results, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official WAEC results website: [www.waecdirect.org](http://www.waecdirect.org).

2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.

3. Input the four-digit Examination Year (e.g., 2024).

4. Select ‘Private Candidate Results’ as the Examination Type.

5. Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number and your Personal Identification Number (PIN).

6. Click ‘Submit’ and view your results.
