How to sign up for CNG initiative

The federal government, through the Presidential CNG Initiative, is implementing a Commercial Vehicle Conversion Incentive Programme (CV-CIP) that provides for free conversion (labour inclusive) of union-registered vehicles in major cities where the conversion programme has been activated in Nigeria, as well as ride-share vehicles, from which operators can benefit from a 50% discount.

Step 1: Go to PCNGI Commercial Vehicle Conversion Incentive Programme

Step 2: Provide Vehicle and Owner Details

Commercial vehicle owners and ride-share operators in participating cities can start their application by providing essential details:

• Personal Information:
  Full Name
  Email Address
  Phone Number
  Vehicle Registration Number
  National Identification Number (NIN)
• Association Selection:
  Choose from Government vehicles, Private Vehicles, BOLT, UBER, INDRIVE, NURTW, NATRO, RTEAN, and PAT.
  Operational Details:
  Operating Motor Park
  Select the nearest Conversion Center

Step 3: Vehicle Specifications

Applicants must provide detailed information about their vehicle:

  Brand of Vehicle
  Make (e.g., Salon)
  Engine Information:
  Engine Capacity

  Vehicle Usage:
  Usual Vehicle Route
  Year of Manufacture (dd/mm/yyyy)
• Engine Condition: Specify the current condition of the engine
