I have no differences with Buhari over NDDC forensic audit report – Niger Delta Minister

Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Umana Okon Umana.
The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Umana Okon Umana, has denied having divergent positions on the implementation of the recommendations of the report of the Forensic Audit into the operations of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Umana in a statement said he was reacting to a news report published in a national daily (Not The Guardian) on Thursday, 11 August 2022, which claimed that he was having a divergent position with President Muhammadu Buhari on issues concerning forensic audit.
He said the news report is completely untrue and therefore misleading, adding that there was no basis for any claim that the minister has a position on the Forensic Audit Report that is different from that of the President.
He urged all stakeholders concerned about the development of the Niger Delta region and the public at large to disregard the said news report as totally untrue and baseless.
