Igbinedion varsity to honour ex-Ghanaian president, others at 16th convocation

Former Ghanaian President, John Dramani Mahama, and the Oluwo of Iwo, HRH Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale, are among eminent personalities to be conferred with award of honorary degrees of the Igbinedion University at the16th convocation ceremony.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Ezemonye, while addressing a press conference yesterday in Okada, Edo State, ahead of activities to herald the ceremony, stated that 736 students would be graduating, while 20 would be awarded First Class honours.

Also, Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa, says it has started mass production of palm nuts nursery, including a large acres of cassava farm, to boost internal revenue of the university.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Ben Aigbokhan, announced this yesterday during a press briefing in Ogwa, Edo State ahead of the fourth convocation of the institution scheduled for November 24, 2018 where 88 students would be graduating.
