Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has condoled with the Obi of Onitsha, Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, and the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, over the death of the father-in-law of the former Vice President, the late Chief Anthony Iwenjiora.

The governor, who expressed his condolence at the weekend when he visited the monarch, said the departed was an accomplished someone who left enduring legacies.

He prayed God to give the family of the deceased, the monarch, Atiku and others the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Also, former President Goodluck Jonathan, accompanied by his wife, Patience, said: “Let me join the Governor of Imo State to express my greetings and deep condolences to you on the loss of your subject.”

Aside being the father of the wife of the former Vice President, he has paid his dues and indeed deserves our respect.
