Governor Emeka Ihedioha has appointed Chief Ikedi Ohakim Chairman of the Planning, Sensitisation and Implementation Committee for the July 2019 sanitation exercise in Imo State.

The chairman was governor between 2007 and 2011. He is renowned for his “Clean and Green” programme in the state.

A statement yesterday in Owerri by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Chibuike Onyeukwu, named the Commander, 34 Artillery Brigade, Obinze, Brig.-Gen. Yusuf Tukura as deputy chairman.
