The Otaru of Auchi, His Royal Highness, Haliru Momoh, Ikelebe III, has said he is with Governor Adams Oshiomhole on the choice of Mr. Godwin Obaseki as next governor of the state, noting: “Wherever the governor asks me to go, I will go.”

The Otaru made this known on Wednesday while receiving the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Godwin Obaseki, and his running mate, Mr. Felix Shaibu, who were led to the palace by Oshiomhole.

He said: “Today, I testify that our son has done wonderfully well in navigating what is good for man, for his people in Edo State and Nigeria. That is service to humanity.”

Speaking earlier, Oshiomhole commended the Otaru for cooperating with the state government. “We have enjoyed your support. You got your communities to cooperate, even when we had to pull down some buildings in order to make this urban renewal possible. I want to thank you for the support. I guarantee that Godwin will do even better,” he said.
