INEC declares Akeredolu winner of Ondo governorship election

The Indenpent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress as the winner of the Ondo governorship election held on Saturday.

The Indenpent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress as the winner of the Ondo governorship election held on Saturday.

Rotimi Akeredolu of APC who got a total of  244,842 defeated his closest challengers Eyitayo Jegede and Olusola Oke of People’s Democratic Party and Alliance for Democracy respectively.

Jegede polled 150, 380  votes while Oke got 126, 889.
