INEC extends PVC collection in Oyo

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced further extension of collection of Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) in the 33 local councils of Oyo State.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr. Adeniran Tella, in a release, yesterday, by the commission’s Administrative Secretary, Biodun Onikate-Amosun, noted that PVC collection was further extended by an additional week.

According to him, the ongoing collection of PVCs will continue and end on Sunday, February 5, 2023, adding that collection time was also extended by additional two hours, to end by 5.00p.m. daily, including Saturday and Sunday.

It warned those that engaged in double or multiple registration not to bother visiting any INEC offices, as the commission did not print their PVCs, assuring that valid registrants will collect their cards.
