IPMAN commends DPR boss for transformational innovations in oil sector

Independent Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), has expressed satisfaction in the innovations and reformation introduced by Department of Petroleum Resources

Independent Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), has expressed satisfaction in the innovations and reformation introduced by Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) in the oil and gas industry.

IPMAN also noted that DPR has witnessed tremendous transforms under the leadership of its Executive Officer, Sarki Auwalu.

IPMAN Chairman in Kano, Bashir Dan-Mallam, made the commendation while addressing journalists shortly after the executive meeting of the union.

Dan-Mallam, noted that DPR leadership deserves accolades from IPMAN, especially with the introduction of digitisation and automation of the oil industry, which are geared towards ensuring ease of doing business in the sector.

The IPMAN chairman also commended the director for his stakeholder engagement with marketers in a bid to foster a strong working relationship with independent marketers.

Dan-Mallam further commended Auwalu for relocating headquarters of the agency back to Abuja and for his commitment towards building a befitting head office for the body.

He, therefore, urged the DPR chief to continue to carry IPMAN along in all the activities of the agency, as he has consistently been doing since his assumption of office as the chief executive officer.

Dan-Mallam assured that IPMAN on its part would continue to partner with the DPR in order to ensure adequate fuel distribution, as well as its availability at all times across the country.

He added that IPMAN would continue to support DPR to ensure steady supply and distribution of petroleum products, not only in Kano zone, but throughout the country.
