JABU employs two best graduating students
To reward academic excellence and scholarship, the management of Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Osun State, has given two of its 511 graduates automatic employment.
David Babalola and Peter Abegunrin, from the departments of Computer Science and Law respectively, graduated with a record 4.97 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), since the university started 15 years ago,
JABU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kola Sonaike, who announced this during the 12th convocation of the school, said the institution chose to reward academic performance with automatic employment.
He disclosed that 511 students graduated from various departments with 25 students graduating with first class, 202 with second class upper, 213 bagged second class lower, 70 earned third class, while one person graduated with pass.
