The Rivers Grassroots Movement (RGM) has extended warm birthday felicitations to Siminalayi Fubara, Executive Governor of Rivers State, describing his leadership as people-focused, resilient, and transformative.

In a congratulatory statement issued on Sunday and signed by its National Leader, High Chief Hon. Amb. Sobomabo Jackrich (Egberipapa), the group commended Governor Fubara’s “Rivers People First” governance philosophy, noting that it has delivered visible and measurable dividends of democracy across all sectors of the state.

According to the group, Governor Fubara’s administration has recorded impactful projects across all 23 Local Government Areas of Rivers State, spanning critical sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and social development, with tangible benefits to residents and indigenes alike.

The Movement also praised the Governor’s calm and resolute disposition in the face of intense political rivalry, which it described as attempts by “enemies of the state” to disrupt the administration’s development agenda.

“Despite sustained political pressure and distractions, Governor Fubara has remained focused and steadfast. This quality distinguishes him as a grounded public administrator and an astute public servant who places the interest of Rivers people above all else,” the statement said.

RGM described the Governor’s leadership style as reassuring and inspirational, adding that his resilience and commitment to inclusive governance have positioned him as an icon of hope for Rivers people.

The group offered prayers for the Governor, asking God to grant him renewed strength, divine wisdom, sound health, and continued grace to execute his mandate. It also prayed for peace, unity, and sustained prosperity in Rivers State under his leadership.

“Rivers State has continued to witness purposeful governance under Governor Siminalayi Fubara. We pray that God’s protection and favour will continue to guide him and his family, and that Rivers State will remain a model of progress and unity for generations to come,” the statement concluded.
