James Hope College (JHC) has reaffirmed its impressive stance on academic excellence with its recent award for the Cambridge Immerse Scholarship.

Few months after JHC published its outstanding International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) result, recording 100 per cent score in 14 subjects, one of its students, Akajiugo Amucheazi, has won the highly coveted 2019 Cambridge Immerse Scholarship, following his qualification through the rigorous nomination round.

Amucheazi will be joining other winners worldwide in Cambridge from August 11 to 24, 2019 for their intensive course.

Immerse Education, provider of the scholarship, is an award-winning academic programme in the United Kingdom.

JHC is one of the educational initiatives of the Jim Ovia Foundation, which offers its students world-class education at a subsidised rate.

Located in Agbor, Delta State, the college is supported by an endowment fund and has 40 per cent of its students on full scholarship.
