Jimmy, Tolu officially appointed senior pastors of TFOLC
…Look beyond the vessel to Jesus, PFN says
The Fountain of Life Church (TFOLC) yesterday had the official Installation of its new Senior pastors, Jimmy and Tolu Odukoya.
The installation, comes two weeks after the church’s Board of Trustees, declared them Senior pastors following the death of the founder, Taiwo Odukoya.
Fellowship National President, Pentecostal of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Wale Oke, speaking at the Official Installation Service of Pastors Jimmy and Tolu Odukoya, said God uses individuals to express His glory stressing that the pastors should be received after the spirit and not the flesh.
Applauding the church for given the late Pastor Taiwo a befitting burial, he urged them to keep following after Christ.
“Late pastor Taiwo was a humble, meek, gracious and great man and appreciated the church for giving him a befitting burial. Though the founder has left the earth, the owner of the church, Jesus Christ, lives for ever,”
Speaking to the congregation, he acknowledged that its a trying and challenging time but urged them to set the Lord before them and be unshaken.
He adding that just like the church after Jesus christ died, this season is just the beginning for the congregation.
“Listen to what the spirit is now saying to the church and honour and respect what and who God has honored,” Bishop said.
Presiding Bishop, The Redeem Evangelical Mission (TREM), Mike Okonkwo, butressed that whatever thr Lord does is permanent, while calling on the Senior pastors to be true to their individuality.
He then lead the newly appointed pastorsin a session of prayers and dedication for the new role.
The new General Overseer, Jimmy expressed appreciation to the spiritual parents, board of trustees, and congregation.
He committed to leading the church as God enables him.
