Kaduna schools to resume under new calendar
After months of disruptive calendar due to banditry, the Kaduna State Government has announced a resumption schedule for schools in the state.
In a statement to education stakeholders in the state, the Director-General, Kaduna State School Quality Assurance Authority (KSSQAA), Umma Ahmed, disclosed that students would resume their 14-week first term on September 13, 2021.
She, however, urged all public and private basic and post-basic schools in the state to comply with the provisions of the calendar.
“National holidays shall be observed as may be directed by the federal or state government. If it becomes necessary to alter the calendar, all concerned shall be notified accordingly,” she added.
