Thousands yesterday thronged the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport to receive Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf from Abuja.

Led by his deputy, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo; amid Speaker of the House of Assembly, Isma’il Jibrin Falgore; Chief of Staff, Shehu Sagagi; Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, members of national and state assemblies and others, the governor returned into the hands of a mammoth crowd after being confirmed as helmsman of the state by the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, Yusuf has felicitated with the Christian community on Christmas.
He charged adherents to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with teachings of Jesus Christ that underline tolerance, patience, care for the needy and love for one another.

In a statement by Commissioner for Information, Halilu Baba-Dantiye, the governor enjoined the people to be peaceful and obedient to traffic rules and regulations.
