Katsina monarch regains freedom from abductors
A nonagenarian traditional ruler in Katsina State, Alhaji Ibrahim Kuduru, who was abducted last Friday, has regained his freedom.
The Galadiman Kuduru, who was abducted at Kuduru village in Kankia Council, was released on Wednesday.
A source in the area, who confirmed the release of the monarch, said he was receiving medical attention at a government hospital in the state capital.
It is uncertain if the ransom was paid before his release.
The monarch is the father of a permanent secretary in the governor’s office, Alhaji Kasimu Ibrahim, popularly known as Simo.
