Katsina State Government has shut all public and private primary and secondary schools for the Sallah break.

The closure, according to a statement, is from June 26 to 30, 2023.

Signed by the Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Ya’u Jibrin, the statement noted that the one week closure is to enable pupils to celebrate Eid al-Adha.

“Approval has been given for a one week Sallah break to all public, community and private schools across the state, from Monday, June 26, to Monday, July 3, 2023,” the statement added.

All boarding students are expected to resume on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
