Kebbi government tasks revenue agencies on better performance

Kebbi State Government yesterday directed its revenue generating agencies to be committed to the revenue generations by increasing their performance to 100 per cent in order to ensure sanity in the system.

Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Babale Umar Yauri, gave the charge, saying the government needed to boost the state’s economy to ensure greater developments in all sectors.

He stated this while addressing the commissioners and permanent secretaries of ministries during the commissioning of Budget Hearing Room at the Ministry of Budge and Economic Planning.

Babale, who commissioned the Budget Hearing Room, said its objective was to streamline the budget expenditure and ensure effective service delivery in government’s activities.

He commended efforts of the Ministry by initiating the project and urged all principal officers to be proactive in budget presentation.
