Kebbi governor directs ministries to accept NYSC members

Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State has directed the state’s ministries and agencies to accept any National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member posted to them.

Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State has directed the state’s ministries and agencies to accept any National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member posted to them.

He gave the directive yesterday during the official closing ceremony of the 2018 Batch ‘C’ stream II combined orientation course for Kebbi and Sokoto states at the permanent orientation camp, Dakingari.

The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Ismail Dabai, said that all the ministries had been told not to reject any corps member posted to the state for their one year national service.

He assured the corps members of the state’s commitment towards supporting their stays.

Calling on the youths deployed to serve in Kebbi to make positive impact in the sectors that are relevant to their calling, especially in the areas of education, health and agriculture.

“On our part, we shall endeavour to support you and above all ensure that your welfare needs and safety throughout the service year are given utmost priority.”
