The Lagos State government has sanctioned Decemeber 31, 2020 cross service, insisting that the worship must end by 12.15 a.m.

In a statement yesterday, state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, said the timing was in deference to Federal Government’s existing curfew to check the COVID-19 pandemic.

He advised members who could return home to remain within the premises till 4:00a.m. when the restriction elapses

Adegbite urged worship centres to observe extant safety measures, pleading that infections should be promptly reported to relevant authorities.
