Nigerian comedian and entertainer, MC Edopikin, once again proved his mastery of the stage as he thrilled fans and fun-seekers at this year’s edition of his flagship show, Edo In Eko, held at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The talented showman delivered a commanding performance that blended humour, music, and culture, reaffirming his status as one of Nigeria’s most versatile entertainers.
True to the show’s multicultural theme — celebrating the fusion of Edo heritage and Lagos vibrancy — MC Edopikin curated an evening of laughter, music, and artistry that kept the audience captivated from start to finish.
One of the key highlights of the night was a unique music-comedy performance by the host, who creatively merged reggae and hip-hop to tell nostalgic stories. The event also featured a music battle segment that provided a platform for emerging talents to shine.
Comedy heavyweights including I Go Dye, Destalker, Koboko Master, and Casino delivered crowd-pleasing performances, while fast-rising acts such as Yannist, Privileged Son, Dasaint, MOP, Jesta, Abarie.com, and MC Wyze added fresh energy to the night.
The musical segment reached its peak when Port Harcourt’s own Duncan Mighty set the hall ablaze with his timeless hits, alongside other performers such as Fabomo, BMG, and Bulkwyd.
The event drew an impressive lineup of celebrities, including comedy icons Ali Baba and Julius Agwu, as well as Kenny Blaq, Josh2Funny, Sexy Steel, Etinosa, Pencil the Comedian, and Ehizogie Ogbebor, CEO of Sayaveth Interiors.
Sponsors and partners that supported the show included AY Homes, Maltina, Goldberg, Legend, Davic Empire, and Friends & Family Wine, among others.
Reflecting on the success of the event, MC Edopikin expressed gratitude to his fans and collaborators, saying: “Edo In Eko was an unforgettable experience, and I’m thrilled to have shut down Lagos once again with an incredible show! The energy of the crowd was electric, and I’m grateful to have shared the stage with such talented artists.
“This event was more than just a comedy show — it was a celebration of our rich cultural heritage and a testament to the power of laughter and entertainment to bring people together. I’m proud to have created a platform that showcases the best of Edo and Lagos, and I’m already looking forward to the next edition!”
