Lalong reads riot act to aides, perm secs in Plateau
Governor Simon Lalong yesterday warned commissioners and permanent secretaries against laziness, negligence and other acts capable of sabotaging governance in Plateau State.
Opening a retreat for members of the State Executive Council (SEC) in Jos, the governor threatened punishment for anyone that flouts government directives and engages in action capable of undermining service delivery.
The participants were reminded that the task ahead of them requires commitment, trust, sacrifice, diligence and accountability for the benefits of the people.
Lalong urged the aides to participate fully in the discussions, as many topics were lined up to equip them for the daunting job.
